Good morning again on another Friday. This weeks challenge was certainly that. Going through my numerous papers I didn't have any colors except the blue.
So we will start with the papers (card stock). In order to obtain the correct colors I used my Photo Shop to create the colors I wanted. Green and rose. I printed them out. I decided I wanted a cat background so thus began the search for just the right image. Then I found this one with the cats and paws...I forgot to record the name, of course it was 1:30 am by the time I found it. Now on to the image it is by Andy Bauer (digital) and the perfect saying (for me) is from TLC Creations.
Hope you all enjoy!
I hope our weekend is going to be better than the past few days....rain, sun peek, rain this is how the past few days have been! Of course I have to work today so the sun should be shining brightly.
Blessings,
Judy
Love stamping and card making. Learning new techniques and being creative...with paper, colors and layouts. I've been making cards since 2004 and have learned everything I know from groups and tutorials on the internet.

Bloggers Challenge 209 Lace or Ribbon
Good Morning, Today's challenge is a bit of a stretch for me because I don't do much lace. I guess I'm a very tailored person. I don't even own a piece of clothing with lace on it! This being said : ) I really wanted to challenge myself...and before I even had read the challenge I went out and bought some lace. All I had here was 2" or wider.
Very simple card Image is from Squigglefly and it is called Jack in the Pulpit. Background is one from TJers but I can't remember the name perhaps on of you ladies knows and wouldn't mind leaving it in my comments section. I traced around the outside edge with green copics and did the same with leaves only I colored them it. I wanted the illusion of a white flower. The lace was the hardest as it took for ever for me to tie ...I'm all thumbs ...especially with wider lace.

I did a second card also because I got my Bigshot machine and of course I had to play with it!! The sentiment is a rubber stampede stamp the embossed images are Cuttlebug embossing folders. The flowers were cut out from the folder. I guess this is my ribbon challenge.
Have a great weekend and a blessed week!!

The Bloggers Challenge 208
Today's Bloggers Challenge was to to make a card or project using this sketch. I had several images in mind but decided to continue with my Spring Theme. This cute little Hedge Hog is a digi . I used the Marble Technique and also a new technique by Technique Junkies called Copic Texturizing, this was used on the pot, grass, and leaves. I wasn't too sure about the orange ribbon until I saw it actually on the card. Some how it works. Have a great and blessed week! Blessings, Judy

Bloogers Challenge Inspiration Photo 207
Ok this is what I came up with. As soon as I saw the photo I loved the tree, the way it was off to the side. Then I saw the small pictures lined up. Of course still dreaming of Spring (next week 60's) I decided to do a nature them of different words that make me think of spring...
So here you go. Digital is unknown (tree) and words are computer generated I used various SU inks and dabbed them on to give the different colors.
Thanks once again for all the comments I have received on my work this group and you ladies are awesome!
Blessings,
Judy

Blogger Challenge 206 Bird
Good Morning...well now that this card is done it is!!! LOL I didn't have time this week but I had in mind what I wanted to do. Just wasn't expecting the time and mess! This is another Pop n Stick image http://www.popnstick.blogspot.com/ and I thought it would be fun to use it for Easter. Her hat was a little too plain so out came the punches and after trying different thing this is what I came up with! Also don't use lace very much so this was a challenge too. The background is a new one from the latest Technique Junkie http://www.techniquejunkies.com/ news letter and it is called Blended Blotches. I had a horrible time with my pencils so I had to revert to crayons (watercolor of course). Instead of using my water brush with water I used it with Irridescent Medium so it has a sparkle to it. Doesn't show it the picture too much. Pigeon was colored with copics Well that's it for today! Have a great and blessed week! Judy
