This is how my babies sleep. They like to be together. At night they sleep like this only they wedge me in the middle! Then I usually have the cat sleeping on my chest.

New Cards Finally

Well finally I will try to post some cards!!! Haven't posted in a while because of the never ending remodel. Sub floor is in and one beam is up. Cabinets come Wednesday and walls have to be up and painted by then. Guess where we will be this Memorial Day weekend.

First want to take a minute to say thanks to all the families who have lost loved ones in our service.

The sacrifice their loved ones made to keep our country safe by giving the ultimate gift of their love is of course the "ultimate gift of their lives". May they be sharing in the beautiful and peaceful home that God has eternally given them. Please take a moment to say a prayer today for them.

Now I will post a few cards today as I haven't caught up with some that I did before and some I have done recently.

Where I have been

Where I have been!!! I will be showing some pictures in this message. Basically we decided to do some remodeling on our kitchen and at the same time check out our upstairs floor. I seemed to be sagging and DH thought it was because they hadn't supported it properly. I wasn't just not supported properly...it was hardly supported at all!!! This is a very old house we figure built somewhere aroun 1900's and when we tore down the ceiling we found old gas pipes for gas lights!!! Our renovation has now turned into moving the bathroom (because they just cut through the joists to run piping which compromised 6 out of 9 joists. One they cut two feet from the opposite wall to run the sewer line! This was now 6 feet of joist doing absolutely nothing.

Anyway here are some pics and I hope to catch up on some cards I have made (not a ton of course and will be slim pickens til this project is done!!!

Been a few days and a few cards later

Here are some cards I made in my absence. DH is on vacation so I didn't get to post as much as I would have liked to.

All the cards are made with Firecracker Designs by Pamela Punch Art 1 A Ray of Hope except the daffodils they are a an unknown stamp.

Card one is also on Stampin Up paper. On card two the swirls are also Firecracker Designs and are from the set So Hoppy Together. I love her stamps (not only because I'm on the DT ) but because of how they all work together. I keep discovering each day how versatile they are.
Card three is using an old background favorite Shaving cream technique.

Tomorrow I hope to post a few more cards DH willing (LOL) well only two more working days then weekend and freedom again!! : )

Boy that's dating me.

Today I am going to post two cards I did. Not too much happening around here on the home front and I will be working this morning so this is going to be short and sweet!! Lucky you!

Picture 1 is a SU set...can't remember the name...threw label away by accident. Love this aged metal form Technique Junkies can you tell. Watercolor crayon (my fav) and frame around picture is watercolor pencil and twinks another TJ tech.

Picture 2 Firecracker Designs Set, A Ray of Hope. This set is unique in that it works with 2 punches the Giga and Mega circles. I used the Giga to punch out image and then an exacto knife to cut out around the inside..didn't knick myself once (a first) Used watercolor crayons to color in image. www.firecrackerdesignsbypamela.com

The first card is using an old favorite Shaving cream technique. The stamp is by The Angel Co. the next two are a new technique from Technique Junkies using the Aged Metal techinquie. Stamps are by Stampin Up and I Brake for Stamps.

Good morning all!!

At least I hope, got around five hours sleep last night so not so bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning.

At request I'm going to post a card I did a week or so ago and then two cards I created yesterday. I then get to play with my April Set for Firecracker Designs By Pamela. Woo hoo they are so much fun to play with and with a little creativity and a lot of luck I can do them justice.

As for my blog...well as you can see it is coming along with lots of help from my friends. I'd like to thank Terri...Life with Terri, Pam...Firecracker Designs, Brenda of Firecracker Designs Team and Barb...Stampelicious for there help and encouragement.

For lack of brain function, deprivation of sleep I will say goodbye and as you all arise to start your day...I will say goodnight and return to my nice cozy warm bed for sleep catch up! Smile

Ok so this is my first post. As I said in my bio that I love stamping and card making. Have 4 years experience, experience in blogging
"none " I'm new to all this blog stuff.





The reason for my blog is to share my passion with others and hopefully to have you all share your stamping passion and card making.





This is today's card simple yet elegant (I think).

This card was done using Firecracker Designs By Pamela. Although not technically difficult, done using ep, I was pleased with the results. The stamps used were Cat-A-Tude background, and the second one is actually a Dandelion top from So Hoppy Together set. Haven't decided what it will be used for yet, birthday, thinking of you, etc.. I tend to do this a lot that way I have cards ready for any occasion.

Hope you like what I've done. Tomorrow I will post some cards using techniques I've learned on Technique Junkies. This is a site I belong to and love to get my newsletter every two months 'chock full o techniques' so check back tomorrow love having you join me.
