On the Rail Squigglefly Scene Challenge #39

Okay so I read last weeks challenge and was so excited that I was able to use my new Martha Stewart punch, then when I went to post it later today the challenge all of a sudden became a scene!! Well luckily I choose this new digi from the ones on Saturday to use with my new punch!! I think it passes for a scene. Can't decide if she is on a ship or possible at a beach but the background looks like the sky and a muted sea. I'm not exactly sure what kind of rail it is guess it could be any kind you want it to be.

The background was done with the Watercolor Roll Technique and the image was done with watercolor crayons. I used watercolor paper for this because of the texture and I also used lemon juice to give the aged look. Lastly I used the torn frame method for the right side. All from Technique Junkies Newsletters.
Please notice the pretty punched border!!!
Next time I check on a Monday I will wait til later in the day..and check the date! LOL
Goodnight all
Judy

Hahaha, you make me laugh, I did the same thing. Worked on a challenge went to post it, and realised I'd missed the cut off. Join the club! I love that image, and how you have put the card together. My first impression was the Titanic, so I would opt for the ship.

I love your card and it does look like a ship to me. I love how you did the bg again. I never heard of using lemon juice for an aged paper though.

Beautiful job on this Judy! I love the muted colors, it really adds to the vintage feel of it. I'm glad you played along in the challenge!
