Made a Diary for My Granddaughter

Good morning,

First I want to thank everyone for the wonderful compliments on my Little Book. I was so surprised with all the responses I got.

This is a diary I made for my granddaughter. She loves to read...so that is the theme. The image is from Mo's Digital Stamps (and if I remember correctly it was a freebie). This reminded me of her so much because she can be found reading books almost all the time.

I would have loved to have added some lace and frilly stuff but that is not her style! I think I may be pushing it a little bit with the pearls.

I used SU tempting turquoise (her favorite color) and then sponged on some gold by Color Box.

The words are all computer generated and the beads and shells are from my stash.

Hope she likes it.

She'll love it Judy! I think this would be a great journal for anyone who likes to read to keep track of the books they've read. My sister keeps track of all the books she reads with little notes on what she thinks of the book. I saw your shy bear book got a shout out in the Squigglefly newsletter too! Way to go!
